Geotechnical Engineering
Soils reports and foundation recommendations you can actually build from
Subsurface investigation, foundation and pavement design, and grading support scoped to the site in front of us — with recommendations written so the contractor and the plan checker both know what to do.

A geotechnical report is only useful if it answers the questions your project will actually run into: what will the soil carry, how much will it move, what has to be removed and recompacted, and what does that do to the schedule.
We investigate the site — borings, sampling, laboratory classification and strength testing — then translate that into bearing values, foundation type, remedial grading depths and pavement sections. Where the site has expansive soil, subsidence potential, liquefaction exposure or slope stability concerns, we address it in the report rather than leaving it for a plan-check comment.
Because our materials testing and special inspection teams sit in the same office, the recommendation doesn't get lost between the report and the field. The engineer who signed it is reachable when the grading contractor hits something unexpected.
Written for buildability
Recommendations are practical and constructible — not padded with conservatism that adds cost you can't recover.
Plan-check aware
We know what San Bernardino, Riverside, LA, Orange and San Diego County reviewers ask for and include it up front.
Continuity into the field
The same firm observes the grading and runs the compaction tests, so nobody re-litigates the report mid-project.
