Special Inspections
Code-required inspection with cross-certified inspectors
Concrete, masonry, structural steel, soils, asphalt, shotcrete and fireproofing inspection — with staff who often hold several certifications, so one trip can cover more than one required scope.

Special inspection is a documentation exercise as much as a technical one. The inspection has to happen at the right moment, by someone certified for that scope, and the record has to satisfy the building official months later.
We cover reinforcing steel and post-tension placement, concrete placement, masonry, structural steel welding and high-strength bolting, nuclear density compaction testing and grading observation, asphalt placement, shotcrete, and spray-applied fireproofing. Non-destructive examination — ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, radiographic and ground-penetrating radar — is available where the detail or the reviewer calls for it.
Because many of our inspectors are certified in multiple disciplines, projects that would otherwise need separate inspectors on separate trips can frequently be covered in one visit. That is fewer mobilizations on your invoice and fewer people to schedule around.
Multi-certified staff
ICC, ACI, AWS, DSA and Caltrans certifications across the team — several scopes covered per mobilization where the code allows.
Documentation that holds up
Reports prepared for municipal and DSA review, so final sign-off isn't held hostage by a paperwork gap.
